When you think of cupcakes, a sweet dessert probably comes to mind. I love a play on the expected, and for years, I have been making meatloaf "cupcakes" with mashed potato "frosting". Lately, I have been seeing articles on savory cupcakes everywhere. Lasagna Cupcakes, Chicken & Waffle Cupcakes, and BLT Cupcakes are just a few of the creative offerings out there. I love the idea of a cupcake themed cocktail party with savory as well as sweet options!
